If you’d like to achieve a younger look by eliminating wrinkles or enhance some of your facial features, dermal fillers can be used to produce stunning improvements. These treatments are quick and simple to administer and normally require little or no downtime meaning you’re ready to face the world in no time at all.

When dermal fillers are injected into the skin they plump it up, make it firmer and smooth out  lines and wrinkles. They are commonly used around your mouth providing fuller more sensuous form by enhancing your lips to produce better definition and or reduce lipstick bleed.

Cheek bones can also be enhanced and given greater definition as can eyes, noses and foreheads. Dermal fillers are extremely versatile; being suitable also for hand rejuvenation, and if used strategically by specialist clinicians, to lift facial features to produce similar results to a surgical facelift without the need for surgery.

What is the recovery time?

There is absolutely no down time and most people are able carry on returning to work straight afterwards. Any redness or minor swelling that does occur is easily hidden with normal make up.

How often is treatment required?

The amount of time that the results last for varies from patient to patient, but can last for over a year. Eventually however, the body will break down the dermal filler, absorbing it without leaving a trace. For many, the non-permanency of the treatment is an advantage as it ensures there is no risk that they will be stuck with a look they did not expect in years to come.

What results can I expect?

The fillers reduce wrinkles and lines, smooth the skin and create fuller lips instantly. The effects are subtle and natural-looking making you appear instantly younger and fresh-faced. To the upper half of the face, volume is restored diminishing the appearance of the tear trough under the eyes. Cheekbones can be enhanced and the nose to mouth lines are lifted and smoothed away.

Is it suitable for all skin types?

Dermal fillers are suitable for all skin types. No allergy testing is required, as the hyaluronic acid we use occurs naturally in the body and so is safe to use on anyone.

This incredibly effective skin renewal therapy restores the healthy youthful appearance of your skin by stimulating collagen production with little or no downtime.

Treatments are ideal for reducing scarring, fine lines and wrinkles. They can also be used for improving skin tone, texture, and treating pigmentation problems. Treatments are simple, safe and increasingly popular.

Skin needling produces comparable results to ‘ablative techniques’ such as lasers, dermabrasion and deep chemical peels. It works by using microneedles to introduce tiny punctures to the epidermis, stimulating the body’s own production of collagen rich tissue. It is much less invasive because the treatment does not require the removal of the skin’s surface, so, healing times are shorter and there is no post-treatment hypersensitivity to UV light.

Skin needling produces better results than other “non-ablative techniques” with virtually no pain or post-treatment discomfort. Skin needling is also one of the few skin therapies that is suitable for treating all skin types, including ethnic skin and fragile skin around the eyes, mouth, hands, neck and décolletage.

Smooth away those wrinkles and the natural signs of aging with anti-aging injections. These popular prescribed wrinkle reducing injections are the most common injectable treatments provided at the clinic.

The anti-aging injections restore a smooth and supple look to your skin, providing a natural relaxed and youthful appearance. Lines and wrinkles are part of the normal ageing process and are caused by smiling, laughing and frowning.  Prescribed wrinkle reducing injection are used to relax the muscles that contract and cause furrows, wrinkles and fine lines when your face is making expressions.

Following your procedure you will see results within three to seven days and these will last for up to three to four months. Regular top ups weaken the muscles used by the face to frown and cause furrows and wrinkles helping delay the signs of aging further.

These injections can also be used if you suffer from migraines, atypical face pain and excessive sweating.

How do the injections reduce wrinkles?

Injections are used to relax the facial muscles that are involved in the production of facial expressions. It does this by temporarily blocking the nerves that control these muscles, which results in a softening of the lines and wrinkles these expressions produce. Experience is needed to ensure only the muscles which produce the wrinkles are treated leaving untreated muscles to contract normally ensuring normal facial expressions can occur.

How long do the effects last?

The effects of the injections last about 3 to 4 months. However over time muscles can become relaxed with repeated treatments. As a result their contractions are reduced, which results in a more enduring youthful effect.

Is it safe?

In the 1950s researchers began experimenting with wrinkle reducing injections. The cosmetic effects were first documented in 1989 and by 2007, it was the most common cosmetic operation in the United States with 4.6 million procedures carried out, according to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. These injections are also used in the treatment of medical conditions including hyperhidrosis, spasms, migraines and dystonias. It has been used safely worldwide since these applications have been discovered.

How long does the treatment take?

Very small quantites are injected into several locations on the face. This procedure takes about 10 to 15 minutes. A local anesthetic is not required as clients experience very little pain during the procedure. There is absolutely no down time and most people are able carry on returning to work straight afterwards.

What are the side effects?

Side effects, which are generally minor and temporary, are fully reversible and usually only last for a few days or few weeks. Redness and bruising can occur after treatment but is actually a side effect not of the injections used but rather the mode of administration. The clinician can prevent bruising by applying pressure to the injection site. If it still occurs it will only last around 7–10 days and can be is easily covered up with makeup.
