All those working in these vaccination clinics, including Nurse Rozina and Dr Nilu, have themselves been offered the Pfizer Covid-19 Vaccine which is stored at -70° to ensure they are protected against the virus and can continue to provide immunisations to patients and other essential services.
At the time of writing this article over 6,000,000 people have been vaccinated including many of the most vulnerable, helping bring an end to lockdown and the pandemic restrictions ever closer. This is unquestionably the biggest vaccination program that the NHS has ever undertaken and in many ways has the feel of a wartime effort; the virus playing the part of a common enemy.
The BSL team have managed to play their part in this program whilst maintaining the clinic’s medical aesthetic treatments to you our clients. It is hoped the efforts of the team will in some small way help us all return to some semblance of normality sooner rather than later.
